Rugby League’s paper of merit has today continued its fearless reporting on some of the very WORST fans in the game.

The Daily Telegraph has this afternoon revealed the disgusting behaviour of some Bulldogs fans over the weekend.

A reporter who refused to put his name on the story has shared details of the horrific incitement by Bulldogs fans that lead to a Dragons supporter going to the pie shop, filming a member of staff responding to a question about whether a pie would look good on a Bulldogs’ supporter, then going down the hill to peg said pie into a group of Bulldogs’ supporters.

The Daily Telegraph can allege that a number of Bulldogs fans had the nerve to drive all the way to Kogarah and attend the opening round game, in full Bulldogs kit.

That aggressive and confronting behaviour from the group of fans who arguably behave markedly better then any other base in the NRL, then led to the Dragons fan to go and purchase a steaming hot pie and peg it at those Doggies supporters.

“It’s just awful and not what you want to see at all,” said the Daily Tele reporter speaking under the condition of anonymity.

“That pie could have ended up scolding a young child because of those Bulldogs fans.”

“And then the Bulldogs fan who got hit had the nerve to say something to the Dragons fan, before walking away and not escalating the situation at all, like a decent and good member of our society.”

“A real blight for the rugby league community.”

More to come.
