A Betoota Flight Path District man has drawn the ire of his girlfriend once again.
Albert Tidsdale (29) did so this weekend when he pulled the trigger on a rather significant purchase for he and his girlfriend's abode.
The somewhat happily unengaged man (who is going to have to turn his attention to other significant purchases in the future), has left his girlfriend Ally fuming after deciding to drop a decent amount of money on a 'fancy gameboy.'
The 'fancy gameboy' in question is actually a PS5 Pro, and has set the joint bank account back 4 figures.
"Return fucking flights to Sri Lanka," laughed Ally while shaking her head.
'That's what he's just dropped on his new PlayStation so he can play that stupid fucking game..."
"I thought it wasn't supposed to be coming out for ages anyway..."
"After telling me that he wasn't super stoked with our finances and maybe we should just do a little weekend away somewhere instead."
While Ally is fuming, Albert has defended the purchase.
"Yeah I mean look it wasn't cheap, but I really don't think Ally understands how big the new GTA is," laughed Albert.
"And I mean, in the famous words of Kim Craig, I think I've saved so much with what I've spent, I might have actually made money."
"Because obviously I'll be a bit of an indoor cat when GTA drops, and will save heaps by not going out."
"So yeah, it's a bit of upfront, but it's actually a smart investment when you think about."
"I haven't told her about the 700 dollar bit of timber I've been eyeing off either," he finished in reference to the Tim David cricket bat he's been tracking.
More to come.
