The avian social media landscape is ablaze this afternoon, after misinfo surrounding the Bird Flu vaccine has gained some serious traction online.

Beaks were set buzzing early today, after a prominent Byron lorikeet tweeted an image of a dead pigeon.

Accompanying that tweet, was a long and controversial claim that the pigeon's death was actually as a result of the recent Bird Flu jab.

The claims come at odds with birdstanders, who noted that said pigeon had made contact with two power lines at the same time.

"Mate, I saw it with my own eyes," said another pigeon from the flock, who has seen a raft of lorikeets and galahs abuse him via social birdia for his claims.

"He was trying to fly off the power line and he hadn't got his foot off the first wire when a gust of wind pushed him into the other wire."

However, those eyewitness accounts have done little to quell the raft of misinformation surround the death.

"You can try and birdshit me all you like," said the aforementioned Byron lorikeet.

"But I know it was the jab that got him."

"And the government is just trying to cover this shit up."

The prominent lorikeet has since featured in a reel promoting both Kyle Sandilands and Karl Stefanovic's shows, with the Byron bird reportedly about to share some hard truths with human and avian communities.

More to come.
