“Australia's Algorithm Reform Is Censorship" Says Man Literally Banning Entire News Organisations

The President of the United States has once again lashed out at one of his country's most loyal allies.

Amongst a raft of other thought bubbles, the 80-year-old bloke in charge of America has blasted Australia and the Albanese government for its proposed algorithm reform.

The 'leader of the free world,' through Trump and its embassy has made the rare political move to publicly criticise an Australian government policy proposal - claiming that algorithm regulation amounted to "extraterritorial censorship of protected speech".

The stunning diplomatic shot across the bow comes fresh off the back of the well adjusted and completely in control President threatening to nuke Iran into oblivion.

It also follows his fairly historic decision to ban entire media organisations from his press conferences, in a move that we have seen in a few notable dictatorships in the past.

The text book example of censorship from the man who doesn't like answering tough questions, has seen media organisations across the political spectrum unite in solidarity - likely from a position of the awareness of their own mortality at the hands of the erratic President.

However, despite that blatant attempt at censorship of the media, Trump is now accusing other governments of trying to censor information - by bringing in an opt in scheme that would simply mean information is presented chronologically instead of in rage bait order, content of women being strangled is taken down and an extremely mild duty of care is placed on social media giants.

Levi Davis, a tech expert from South Betoota Polytechnic explained a possible reason for the lashing out.

"Hmmm, the leader of a country that is run by billionaires, namely tech billionaires whose entire business model is the algorithm, and whose entire influence is the algorithm - isn't keen on the world being shown how you can regulate said algorithm," said Davis.

"Might be worth asking why that is, particularly for an opt in scheme and a duty of care that simply demands extreme and violent content is mainlined into developing or shrinking brains?"
