Australia has sought to try and repair it's relationship with the French today, by sending a massive shipment of foreign aid its way.

With the country going through another rather sizeable flare up of civil disobedience, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has reportedly ordered a dispatch of foreign aid to be sent to one of the leaders of the Western world.

Broken exclusively to The Advocate in part of his daily briefing with our humble regional newspaper, Albanese confirmed that 100 million Le Snaks were being packaged up and put on a plane as we spoke.

French Onion of course.

"We thought it was the least we could do for the French," explained Albanese.

"After all that business with the submarines and the broken contracts."

"Sending a massive drop of our finest French Inspired cuisine to the capital of culture felt like the right thing to do at this tough time for their country."

The move is of course expected to draw strong criticism from people in the media and online, who are likely to critique Albo for not looking after our own Le Snak eaters, before sending the cheesy dip and crackers across to the other side of the world.

French President Emmanuel Macron has yet to respond to the kind gesture, with claims he is being waylaid by the massive national protests against rampant inequality across is country.

More to come.
