Anti-PC Commentators Insist The Woke Police Are Outraged By Awkward Cultural Gaffe

The corner of the media and internet that feed off outrage and division have fired up for another big Monday on the tools.

With nation graced by a quiet'ish weekend of culture wars, online and News24 commentators are having to really put in the work to find an outrage worthy story today.

That has seen an Adelaide Crows superfan become a real person of interest, with the woman being spotted on TV with a face full of black paint - as part of her Claude the Crow mascot costume.

That footage has of course been gleefully jumped on by the anti-woke police, who are keen to point out that 'the woke left want her put in jail' because a couple of people left mildly emotive comments on the internet.

While it's pretty wildly recognised that blackface is not play on, the context of a superfan who might not be completely across online discourse and critical race theory has seen the overwhelming majority just shrug and say, 'leave it be.'

In fact, the context of the person at the centre of the 'furore' dressing up in a full crow costume might indicate that we really don't need to turn this into a culture wars issue at all.

However, that hasn't stopped the group of people who want to turn it into a thing, so they can angrily complain about how it shouldn't even be a thing, trying to turn it into a thing.

"HOW ARE WE EVEN TALKING ABOUT THIS," said a fired up News 24 Chungus this morning, who is one of the only people actually talking about 'this.'

"The militant left will not rest until everyone who doesn't agree with them is thrown in jail it seems."

The rant then went on for another 10 minutes, with a multitude of populist buzz words jammed in before running out of steam and cutting to a Melbourne crime story.

More to come.
