6 Week Situationship Enters The “Sending Mildly Funny Reels To Each Other” Stage

A Gen Z situationship has just reached the next phase of dating which is sending mildly funny reels on Instagram to each other. 

Holly Hawthorne (24) and Teddy Whitmore (26) first met on popular dating app, Hinge and ever since have met 1-2 times a week for drinks or coffee and on the odd occasion a drunken booty call. 

But now at the 6 week mark, the young couple are ready to take it to the next level by sending comedic Instagram reels to each other that somewhat relate to something they’ve spoken about. 

“There was this reel about a girl still not understanding what offside means and Teddy tried explaining it to me on our second coffee date so I sent it to him ahahah” Holly kind of fake laughed to our reporter. 

“I guess it wasn’t really that funny but I just wanted him to know I thought of him.” 

Teddy responded by liking the reel she sent and replying “soooooo you coded.” 

Ever since, the pair have been exchanging reels everyday, so much in fact that Teddy has grown concerned that it’s their main form of communication. 

“Now our conversations are just about videos we’ve sent to each other rather than what has happened in our day” Teddy told the Advocate. 

“I guess that’s how it works these days.” 

The Gen Z couple look forward to the next phase of their relationship where they exchange phone numbers.
