“Why Don’t You Go To A Dr Who Bulk Bills?” Asks Mate Who Clearly Hasn’t Been For A While

A local man has today revealed to his office that he’s on a pretty good run.

Berrick Watson did so a short time ago when asking why one of his colleagues didn’t just go to a doctor who bulk bills.

While Berrick thought he was asking a simple run of the mill question, his behaviour was in fact a revelation to his work mates that he has clearly had quite impeccable health over the last little while.

“Geez, you haven’t been sick for a while have ya,” laughed one of his office colleagues with a health ailment to sort out.

The topic of conversation came about after said colleague began whinging about having to pay 100 bucks for a quick consult, despite living in a country that boasts about its health system.

“Why don’t you just go to a doctor who bulk bills lol? Why are you paying that much to see someone,” laughed Berrick.

The question then prompted a bunch of confused looks from his colleagues, who have all given up on driving 4 suburbs away on a Tuesday at 11am to try and find a doctor who doesn’t make them cough up extra.

“That’s not how things work anymore Berrick,” said his sickly co-worker.

“You’ve clearly been a fit, healthy and mentally sound young man for the last few years, and that’s great for you.”

“But you might be in for a rude shock next time you come down with something haha.”
