In some exciting news for travelling pet owners, Virgin Australia is now allowing customers to bring small cats and dogs to board flights for an additional fee, as part of a trial run until January 2026.
It will be available on select routes between Melbourne, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast.
This news comes just two days after a Melbourne woman was kicked out of a Virgin lounge for pumping breast milk, with a staff member alleged to have said that the motherly act was making both the staff and members uncomfortable.
Speaking to the staff member in question, who wishes to remain anonymous, The Advocate learns more all about this gross, suggestive young mum who had the nerve to feed her child in public!
“Look, I just can’t be expected to do my job with someone’s norks out. It’s like trying to avoid the eye of Sauron”, said the staff member.
“Mums should breastfeed somewhere private…preferably a dark dingy bathroom and not in front of a bunch of grown adults who are probably too drunk on complimentary prosecco to give a focus on anything.”
“I’m sure customers much prefer to be seated next to an incontinent, semi blind chihuahua who yaps incessantly every time there’s slight turbulence.”
More to come.
