British superstar RAYE has today revealed the deciding factor behind her upcoming trip to Australia.
The singer-songwriter who was just announced as the headline act for Spilt Milk, has confirmed that a rather large scientific excursion sized carrot was dangled in front of her.
Speaking exclusively to The Advocate this morning, RAYE explained that a private trip to Questacon as part of the Canberra leg of the festival was more than enough to get her over the line.
“It’s always been a bucket list item for me,” said RAYE about the formative utopia that is the Questacon complex.
“So when they told me they could roll it into the Canberra show it was a no brainer.”
“Lewis (Capaldi) is apparently also keen, so it should be a bit of fun,” laughed the popular singer about another huge name on the lineup.
RAYE and Capaldi are set to perform the festival run in their only Australian shows, joined by the likes of DMAs, Maisie Peters and globally ascending Galway export KETTAMA, with stops in Canberra (12th Dec), the Goldie (13th Dec), Geelong (19 Dec) and Perth (20 Dec).
When pressed on a couple of add ons like the War Memorial and the Art Gallery in Canberra, RAYE was slightly more non committal.
“Haha yeah, that could be cool I guessssssss.”
“Let’s see how we go.”
More to come.
