A Betoota Heights Mum of 2 has been left seething after her Sunday evening favourite was “ruined” by an appearance from the Duchess of Sussex.
Kylie Mitchell (64) says she struggles to see how Meghan Markle fits into such an esteemed TV programme.
“She’s not a bloody chef, she’s got the butlers to do that for her,” she said.
“Bet I could make a better meal than that, it looks miserable,”
Despite her complaints, Kylie still refused to let husband Paul switch channels for the NRL replay on 9.
The avid Women’s Weekly reader first voiced her disdain for Meghan during her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
“There was something off about her, like she was just after the money,” she said.
Her suspicions were only confirmed after the 2020 ‘Megxit’, during which Kylie said her heart “just broke” for Harry’s family.
The couple's recent Australian tour has seen Kylie and her girlfriends engage in lengthy phone calls to scrutinise Meghan's every move.
“Honestly, I just don’t know if it’ll be worth watching the rest of the season if this is the type of people they’re going to get on,” she added.
Kylie has written comments on MasterChef’s Facebook page to ensure showrunners are aware of her complaints.
More to come.
