In what may be an interesting change in character, local drama hater Tia West (25) has found herself following the Jonah Hill/Sarah Brady saga pretty bloody closely.
Earlier in the week, professional surfer Sarah Brady shared screenshots of her conversations with ex-boyfriend Jonah Hill, in which he somehow came off as more of an insecure misogynist than his character in Superbad (2007).
The continuing story has shed light on the more subtle forms of emotional abuse in relationships, particularly what experts, and TikTok users, are calling the ‘weaponisation of therapy speak’.
This saga has also given people who feel like they have no control of their lives another celebrity to burn at the stake.
Yet for West, who would really like to make it clear she hates drama, this whole horrible situation is like watching a delivery truck block the passage of an ambulance but with much more meme potential.
“The whole thing is so horrible, dark and juicy and awful,” stated West, who didn’t know who Sarah Brady was last week and probably won’t again in two weeks.
“Tbh, this reminds me a lot about – and I probably shouldn’t say this but you don’t know her so it’s fine – it reminds me a lot of my friend Sarah and her bf Mat.”
