IDK THO: Betoota Heights local Sophie Turner was left at a crossroads this morning following her routine coffee catch up with close friend, Jasmine Bloom – the woman who she turns to whenever life advice is needed.

This week’s dilemma is whether or not Sophie should go into business with her boyfriend who’s she’s been dating for just over a year.

“Hmm that’s a tough one” said Jasmine, who prides herself on being unbiased despite her facial expressions saying otherwise.

As the back and forth continued, Jasmine probed further with a couple of follow up questions.

“Does he have any experience in the industry?”

“What if you break up?”

“Do you even work well together?”

After gathering all the facts Jasmine finally delivered her impartial words of wisdom “I mean, If you think it’s a good idea and it won’t affect your relationship, then go for it I say”

Jasmine, nervous she may have altered the course of her friends life, potentially for the worse, quickly backed this up with two simple words she knew would be her alibi.

“Idk tho”

Muttering these two simple words meant Jasmine would be able to sleep at night knowing that if her friends situation went pear shaped her wise words wouldn’t come back to bite her.

“It’s my go-to when I’m not 100% sure the advice I’m giving won’t ruin someone’s life” Jasmine told Betoota.

“If not that, the classic ‘what’s your gut telling you’ usually does the trick.”

“Best to just keep it safe with the idk’s and let the peas fall where they may.” she sighed.

“Plus who am I to tell her how to live her life?”

More to come.
