Local wife Amy Ridgley (33) has agreed to herself that it is probably best for the health of her marriage that she not say "I told you so" to her husband who purchased a digital image of an A.i generated monkey with a crown on its head for two thousand bucks.

"It didn't make sense to me then and he clearly struggled to explain any of it to me which rung some alarm" explained Amy.

"It still doesn't make sense to me now and the digital image of the monkey is now worth 90 cents, which I still think is a bit of a rip off"

Amy's husband Mark, who like many men during 2021 was swept up in the hysteria of the NFT craze, prefers not talking about his "investment"

"Trust me, at the time, it made a lot of sense, I get that it sounds like a dumb concept when I explain it now" said Mark.

Amy has confirmed that she made an active effort not to ask about the market value of the NFT the second her husband spent two thousand dollars on it.

“Marriage is about choosing your battles” she said.

Mark maintains the experience was a valuable lesson in AI technology, although he has quietly removed the NFT gallery app from his phone.
