Local Mums Exchange Silent Nod Of Solidarity After Spotting Each Other’s Yeti Cups On Trick Or Treat Run

The master-planned estates of our town's aspirational north have hosted a share experience this week, as two exhausted mums crossed paths.

Local mother of three, Sarah Jenkins, was reportedly three-quarters of the way through a Halloween shepherding shift when a moment of raw, unadulterated human connection on the corner of Magnolia Circuit and Hibiscus Way occurred.

Rounding the corner mid-stride, Sarah locked eyes with a fellow traveller - a mother from two streets over, similarly deep into her own lap of the estate.

As they passed each other, both women clocked the exact same stainless steel silhouette tucked under an arm: the unmistakable Yeti cup featuring a lovely drop of their choice from Dan Murphys.

In a silent, synchronised movement both women nodded at each other, before quickly asking what was in the other's cup.

"Haha White Claw actually, it was on special this week at Dan's," laughed Sarah.

"Keeps it icy cold the whole walk”

“Has certainly come in handy this evening.”

Getting a laugh in return, Sarah was then informed that the other mothership passing in the night had actually filled hers with a nice Chardy (and a couple of ice cubes of course).

"Good taste" the both said in unison as they journeyed on their quest for chocolate and lollies.
