A local Leo has done the most Leo thing ever today and taken the time out her day to discuss her favourite topic, the fact that she’s a Leo.
Having been born on the 16th August of 1996, Lucy McChristie is the first to admit she bears all the hallmarks of the Leo zodiac.
Ruled by the sun, and connected to the fire signs, Lucy describes herself as being a confident, creative and passionate individual, “a real vibe bringer”.
Of course, to the rest of her friends, Lucy is usually described as an arrogant, self-centered princess, a loud and overbearing theatre kid who regularly talks over the top of themself, in an chaotic attempt to make herself the most important person in the room.
But as she powers towards her 30th birthday, Lucy has told The Advocate she’s still pretty sour that she never got to have a pool party as a kid.
“August birthdays were the worse, especially in primary school,” Lucy told our reporter as she scrolled Instagram in search of a new sparkly outfit for her bottomless birthday brunch.
“The town pool was always closed, we couldn’t do a slip n’ slide party in the park, it was always just a sleepover with rented DVD’s and maybe a pizza.”
“I used to get so jealous of my Capricorn and Aquarius friends, they always got to rent out the giant inflatable duck at the town pool, or do a water bomb party down their street.”
As she pings off a few emails to some local restaurants and bars to inquire about hiring the space for one of her several planned birthday events, Lisa says she’s learned to make August events just work in her favour.
“But I’m not bitter, instead I just plan for six different birthday events, three dinners, two picnics and a weekend away.”
“Some of my birthday plans even leak into September, too bad for all those Virgos, those uptight losers can just deal with it.”
More to come.
