A Yo-Chi virgin has suffered quite the surprise at the counter after realising just how weighty they made their frozen yoghurt.

32 year old Steven Brown, has never been one to participate in trends or fads, but after seeing the lines for Yo-Chi for the past four years since it opened he thought he might as well give it a go.

After getting over the initial stimulation explosion that is a Yo-Chi store, Steven awkwardly licked out a couple flavours from their taster cups and thought it wasn’t actually too bad.

“Once you get past the deafening music blasting and the 15 year olds hitting you down with their school bags, the actual yoghurt itself was pretty good” Steven told our reporter.

The Yo-Chi worker encouraged first timer Steven to mix flavours and load up on toppings to get the most out of his Yo-Chi.

“I should have noticed the scales at the counter but for some reason I just thought that’s why the lines are always so long, cause you can take advantage of the system!”

Steven went on to load his Yo-Chi to the very top of the cup. Then put on the heaviest fruit available as well as the popping pearls, mochi, pretzels, edible spoon and 2 brownies.

When Steven finally got to the counter, the worker welcomed him with such joy he could not have predicted what happened next.

“I put my Yo-Chi on the scales and it came to $40.10.”

“I could have had two decent dinners with that money.”

“Worst thing is, I couldn’t even finish all the yoghurt, it fucking melted 5 minutes into consuming it.”
