Excited Travellers Save A Whopping $50 To Have The Worst Flight Of Their Life

A group of frugal travellers were seen having major regrets at their 9 hour layover in Taiwan over the weekend.

The mid twenties friend group who were ready for a budget friendly Europe trip decided to take the cheapest flight available from Sydney to London via Taiwan on an airline they’d never heard of.

Commerce student, Hannah Walker, booked her ticket thinking she’d rather spend the money on vodka crans at an overpriced club in Croatia.

“I think with travelling, you have to figure out what your priorities are. For us, the flight didn’t really matter” Hannah explained to The Advocate.

But upon arrival to the plane, Hannah and her friends realised they made a grave mistake.

“Yeah no screens, no food, no pillow, no PowerPoint, you had to pay for water” said Hannah.

“The seat was horrific to say the least, I think my scoliosis has come back.”

If that wasn’t torture enough, the group landed in Taiwan with a 9 hour layover. Hannah’s friend, Ben Wilson, never had plans to have such a long stay in Taiwan.

“We went to maccas for some fucking food at last and then after that we realised we still had 8.5 hours left.”

“I probably tried every cologne at that damn airport.”

The group decided in the end that saving the $50 for the cheaper flight was not worth it at all in the end and they’d rather go a night sober in Croatia then spend another hour at that airport.
