EP 51: Hau Latukefu

Straight out of Queanbeyan, this week’s guest Hau Latukefu is a pioneer of a burgeoning Australian musical genre known to the kids as “rap” – or more theoretically “urban”. One half of the iconic hip hop duo Koolism, and now a label headhunter for new talent/ host of Triple J Hip Hop Show. Hau is one of the few notable Queanbeyan products that doesn’t play some form of professional rugby – although it sounds like he could have. Today we are talking hip hop politics, trajectories, and the frosty relationship between the public broadcaster and Kerser.
