Early Bird Housemate Snakes Washing Machine AGAIN On Glorious Blue Day

Gone are the summer days of putting your washing out and having it dry within half an hour.

Instead, at this time of year, sharehouses have to take advantage of every clear blue day that appears if they want to have any chance combatting Winter’s high electricity bills.

Last night before bed, Eden Phillips (23) checked the weather forecast for the next few days and saw her chance. A blue sky today followed by rain emojis as far as the 10 day predictions could see.

As she nodded off, she was sure a 9am wakeup would give her plenty of time to guarantee she was first served to the washing machine.

After snoozing the alarm once or twice, she got up and navigated her way from bedroom to laundry with her clothes hamper propped against her hip.

However, as she neared the big white appliance, her first fears came to life. Someone's clothes were inside, and 1:45 was left on the clock.

“Fucks SAKEEEE,” she said.

“Fucking hell. You're kidding. It’s going to be almost midday by the time this is done!! Then my stuff will go on for an hour and a half, at least, so I’m looking at least 2pm by the time I hang it up,”

“Fuck meeee this is a nightmare. I have a bunch of elastane tops that can’t even go in the dryer. And a woolly jumper. Arrrghhhhh.”

After asking Reddit if it would be evil for her to stop her housemate's washing cycle halfway through and put her own clothes in, she’s resolved to just wait it out.

However, she has reportedly spent the better half of the last hour crafting the perfect passive aggressive text message for when no one comes to claim their laundry straight away.

More to come.
