A request for a reimbursement of funds has provided a Betoota funnyman with the opportunity to do something absolutely hilarious.
With a local group of mates currently in the process of booking their annual trip to Bali, money has been flying around between accounts according to who decided to book what.
And with James Parker finally putting his hand up to lock down flights, the invoice had to be passed on to the rest of his party.
While most of the crew saw nothing but a price to be paid, supposed comedian Lawrence Forney saw a chance for a classic prank, as well as potentially put his mate in hot water with the missus.
“It’s like, I’ve sent him the money, so he won’t be upset, but I wrote ‘prozzy money’ in the reference section for the transfer,” Forney laughed.
“So if anyone else checks his transaction history, they’ll think he shouted all the boys a prostitute or something, haha!”
“I dunno how I think of this stuff.”
It wasn’t until Parker finished up work this evening that he had a chance to check his bank account and subsequently review the practical joke his mate had played on him, with the reaction unsurprisingly not the one Forney was hoping for.
“Honestly, the bloke just does my head in," he told our reporter.
“This genuinely makes me regret inviting him on the trip.”
“Can you imagine spending a week in a villa with a bloke who reckons this is top stuff?”
“God help us.”
