An actor who you probably haven’t heard of has had their pick of the tens of Aussie TV shows going into production next year after having mild success in an obscure CBS show from 5 years ago.
39 year old NIDA trained Adriana Hudson has announced this morning to her 240k Instagram followers that she will be playing the lead detective in an Aussie crime series based off of a book which is based off of someone’s real life traumatic death.
The TV actor took to social media to say “I’m so happy to finally announce I’m coming back home to play one of the most iconic characters in Australian literature!”
Adriana then went on to boast about how excited she was to start filming in the middle of South Australia, a place she has “always wanted to visit.”
The Aussie actress who has been living in LA for the past 8 years since her breakout role in season 4 of a medical drama that has never been released in Australia, believes that Australian Television is so back.
“I wanted my next project to be a role I could really sink my teeth into” Adriana told our reporter.
“It was either playing a detective in a crime show or being in a one woman show for a state theatre company.”
“I’m not great at learning lines so yeah detective it is.”
Director of the show, Rachel Miffin is excited to be directing her 5th crime show this year.
“For the colour grade of the show we’ll push for the same ABC iview teal” she sighed to our reporter.
“And don’t worry, you’ll recognise the cast. Basically same cast as the last Aussie show you tuned into.”
The crime series “SINISTER” starring Adriana Hudson will be released next Winter on a streaming platform that no one you know has.
