The world is vaguely watching on as the nation of France hosts widespread protests.
Famous for exercising their democratic and human right to protest, the French are at it again this week.
While it seems to be something to do with a sociopolitical system, the world has been told just to hold tight, in cause it's not simply a protest against Tuesdays.
"Yeah, we are trying to wrap our heads around what is the cause of the consternation this time around," explained Ben Cannane, a geopolitical expert at South Betoota Polytechnic University.
"I have heard some rumours that the movement has sprung out of a disdain for Tuesdays, and weekdays in general, but it's really important to wait and see."
Media reports out of France claim that the hundreds of thousands of protesters have hit the streets demanding better schooling conditions.
The interior ministry said 200,000 people had taken part in mainly peaceful marches in cities including Marseille, Nantes and Lyon on Tuesday, with 56,000 more joining the biggest demonstration in Paris.
However, Cannane says there may be more to the story than meets the eye.
"Look, that might be what the authorities are claiming to give it some sense of nobility," he said.
"But there's a good chance it's a nice excuse to get everyone together and enjoy a couple of skinny cigarettes and some 1664s."
"Let's just wait and see."
