Social media users around the country have today woken up to a stunning moment from a Coldplay concert.

With the band treating it’s fans to another full scale performance of their music at Gillette Stadium near Boston, a local couple who aren’t publicly a couple have caused a scene.

With Kiss Cam flicking around the crowd, fans and social media consumers have been left stunned to see a canoodling couple quickly recoil from the spotlight – before mouthing some expletives about what had just happened.

It’s since been revealed that the guy was a CEO of some big company in the US, and the lady he was cuddling was the head of HR at that company.

While the catching out will of course spell disaster for the personal lives of both sides, it has also lead to a veritable smorgasbord of memes, post and humorous comments.

Speaking exclusively to The Advocate, the CEO said;

“The lights go out and I can’t be saved

Tides that I tried to swim against

Have brought me down upon my knees”

With our reporter nodding along, he then paused and pensively sung;

“I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy’s eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing
Now the old king is dead, long live the king.”

“For some reason, I can’t explain
I know Saint Peter won’t call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh”
