A recent report has revealed that the World Happiness Index really needs to start factoring weather into its rankings.

"I have been to Finland and let me tell you that it is not the happiest place in the world" said Jack Young (31), who spent 2 days trying to find something to do in downtown Helsinki in 2015.

"The sun goes down at like 3pm, no one smiles, its quite literally the most miserable place In Europe I've ever been to" he said.

The World Happiness Report, which supposedly ranks countries on 'happiness', placed Finland in the top spot once again, followed by Iceland, and with Denmark in third.

"Like, I get that these countries all have some good social programs, but do you think the people making these lists have actually been to these places?"

"It's literally night time most of the time there, how are they not factoring that in?" he lamented.

"Give me a digital nomad job on a slightly dodgey Caribbean nation any day of the week thanks"

Experts behind the report maintain that factors like income, life expectancy and social support outweigh "frivolous" factors like sunlight, temperature and general ability to do anything outdoors.

Experts warn that if they did start factoring in weather, most of Scandinavia and Northern Europe in general would struggle to crack the top 30, and Australia would be way higher obviously.
