Office worker Katrina Davies is experiencing vivid primary school flashbacks after taking her lunch break with colleague Tiffany Henson.

Following a particularly boring meeting, the pair retreated to the staff kitchen, where Katrina threw a rather mediocre spaghetti bolognese into the microwave for lunch.

“What you got there?” asked Tiffany, to which Katrina replied, “Just some spag bol.”

“Ohhh right, nice. I made a lamb roast last night so I’ve just got that,” Tiffany said, although Katrina hadn't asked.

“Oh, nice, fancy,” Katrina said, more bluntly than intended.

“Yeah, I’m honestly such a little cheffy lady sometimes, ha ha, like honestly, I’ll see stuff on TikTok and just recreate it perfectly without even following the recipe, Jake says he doesn't know how I do it,” Tiffany continued without missing a beat.

Katrina was immediately swept into long winded flashbacks when her most pressing concern in life was the class seating plan and being assigned next to the girl who thought she could sing.

She would struggle to get any work done next to Angela Simpson, 10 at the time, who would sing beneath her breath just loud enough in the hopes Katrina might offer her a compliment.

Katrina thought to herself how Tiffany was definitely just like that in school, and even considered asking her whether she can sing before ultimately deciding against it.

Her fears were confirmed, however, when Tiffany started up with a Billie Eilish song at that signature ‘just-right’ volume while waiting for her food to heat up.
