A local woman’s morning has gone off with a terrible start, as some mindless head scratching has resulted in her losing track of a very large and very flaky piece of dandruff.
As someone who somehow struggles with both greasy hair and a dry scalp, Anna Lang, 33, is no stranger to dandruff.
However, as an anxious girlie, there is a strange silver lining to copping a scalp full of flakes - the undeniably fun process of mindlessly picking away at them and the satisfaction earned from landing an almond flake.
Unfortunately for Anna, her white whale of scalp flesh evaded her slippery fingers this morning, resulting in her desperately combing through her hair to find it.
But alas, she could not.
She speaks to our reporter about his harrowing experience.
“I’ve had a rough couple of weeks so I really needed this win today”, she said, looking so heartbroken, our reporter had to fight the urge to give her a hug, “god it was so big, Effie. A big chunky boy.”
“It’s like an exploding zit - rare, but instantly memorable.”
"Hopefully good fortune will strike me again in the future."
