An audible sigh seeped out of Nadia Canningvale (32) after glancing around her wheel throwing pottery class and realising there wasn’t one hot man in sight.

It’s understood that the rest of the class had similar aspirations to Nadia. That being a steamy, intimate and somehow sexy tandem encounter on the clay wheel with an attractive man.

Nadia and the rest of her class are of course hoping to recreate their very own romantic clay experience like the one shown in 1990 romance-thriller, Ghost, starring the late Patrick Swayze.

“How is it even statistically possible? There are 15 people here, how is there not one hot guy? Or girl even, I’ve been known to be a bit bi.”

As Nadia was speaking with our reporter, she shivered as if a ghost walked through her.

“Omg. Of course! He was a ghost! So I don’t need anyone with a mortal body to Swayze me, I just need a hot spirit - which surely there are some floating about”

According to the class instructor, at least 40 per-cent of students only sign up in hopes of having a dirty, clay smothered romp.

“Look, that movie did a lot for pottery. But, it’s an ancient craft that deserves recognition in its own right, not just because of some Hollywood heartthrob.” Said the instructor.

With no heartthrobs in sight, Nadia and the rest of her class might have to forgo finding romance and instead settle for a few hand-made vessels.

More to come.
