A fashionable young woman has taken to social media to show off her recent overseas outfits which included a variety of ballet flats.
26-year-old Mindy Harrington, was seen wearing her lightweight slip on shoes on Instagram smiling from ear to ear.
However under the whimsical and charming shoes there was something more sinister.
“I have never experienced such pain in my life” Mindy told our reporter.
“You can’t even walk over a thousand steps without getting blisters on each individual toe.”
Mindy had seen many fashion influencers donning the popular style of shoe on their Europe trips and decided that she was going to do the same. Unfortunately for Mindy she failed to remember that majority of these influencers probably ubered everywhere or took their photos close by their luxurious hotels.
“I thought because they were flat they would be more comfortable than heels or even a wedged sandal, but boy I could not be more wrong.”
“You should see my ankle, it’s lost like 5 layers of skin, it’s bare bright red skin.”
Mindy had to wrap her feet nearly entirely with Band-Aids, which has now impacted her ability to wear open toe shoes.
“I just want to wear my thongs, but I don’t want to scare people with my feet.”
“All I wanted was to be a cutie with my cutie little ballet flats and my cutie little dresses but now my feet are basically disfigured, oozing with pus and blood.”
Thankfully for the closest tourist store, Mindy was able to buy a pair of rip off crocs which she wore for the rest of her trip.
“I had to change into my ballet flats for photos but I could deal with that.”
