Victor Radley Receives Mammoth Suspension For Behaving Like The Average Bloke From Bondi

A fan favourite of the NRL has this week been handed the biggest punishment in Sydney Roosters history.

Victor Radley has been hit with a $30,000 dollar fine and a 10 game suspension (without pay) after being caught behaving like every single other bloke in Bondi.

The Tri-Colours enforcer has been hammered with the punishment after text messages revealed he was organising a drop of Bondi Marching powder for the boys.

The text messages were revealed by police in regards to the Brandon Smith matter (disclosing inside information in relation to betting, and drugs charges) and have set the NRL world alight.

They came a few months after Roosters Supremo Nick Politis famously said that anyone caught with cocaine or leaning over some white powder will be booted from the club.

That move seemingly comes at odds with the behaviour patterns of the entire Eastern Suburbs of Sydney (and the broader Australian population).

A number of players were caught up in the ‘Short 8 Ball’ scandal, with Uncle Nick seemingly keen to use a bit of discretion in regards to who gets moved on.

While Victor’s 700k salary for the next two years looks appealing to cut from the salary cap given his history of missing games, the NRL media is just pretending that this is all about Uncle Nick taking a nice moral stance.

It’s unknown if the huge suspension (much larger than the ones handed to some players accused of and convicted of appalling crimes) will see the Tri-Colours club successfully ban marching powder from their circles.

More to come.
