The River City is officially title-town, as they break records that nobody even knew existed.

Both the men’s and women’s Brisbane Broncos side have pulled off major upsets to claim the 2025 NRLW and NRL premierships, just a week after the Brisbane Lions did the same in the AFL.

With less than 7 years before the Queensland Capital is set to host the 2032 Summer Olympic Games, Brisbane’s footy clubs have proven that there is no Australian city more suited to this task.

As of last night, Brisbane may be the greatest sporting city in the world, and a few new stadiums and a cross-city rail will not only make that technically correct – but also theoretically correct.

Anyone who has said the Brown Snake isn’t up to it – or claimed they won’t be able to pull it all together in time – clearly weren’t watching the city come-from-behind in yesterday’s glorious grand final double header.
