A Betoota Heights woman is today unwinding in one of her favourite ways possible – by watching a rather hectic medical drama on the couch in the joys of her own company.

After a long day of dealing with rather hectic medical incidents, nurse Beth Middleton (29) told The Advocate that she loves kicking back and mainline more of people fighting for their lives.

One of the loyal but overworked and underpaid staff at Royal Betoota’s ICU department told us that it’s nice watching events unfold where you aren’t responsible.

“And the cast are all pretty cute, in a rugged wholesome medical way,” she laughed, pointing to the hit new show The Pitt.

“Or just flat out hot like McDreamy and McSteamy from back in the day ya know.”

“But anyway, yeah I love this shit.”

“My boyfriend loves watching blokes run at each other for hours and hours every weekend.”

“I love watching the exploration of the human condition.”

“Besides, I desensitised to the graphic nature of what happens in these shows, unlike my sooky little boyfriend who hides under the pillow whenever the hectic scenes come on.”
