Well, Um, Brisbane Should Be Rather Lively Tonight

You would not want to be a schooner in Fortitude Valley tonight, or an employer in metropolitan Brisbane tomorrow.

This comes after the most euphoric AFL grand final victory last night for the Brisbane Lions, which was backed up today by an ELECTRIC preliminary final win for the Broncos – who have just ended the Penrith Panthers Premiership streak several minutes ago.

At time of print Caxton street was full to the brim of both Lions fans and Broncos fans, who as of this weekend, have come together as one under the mighty maroon.

The job’s not done yet for the Broncos, but the entire city believes they can do it just like their brothers on the other side of the river did last night.

Also they polished off modern NRL’s first dynasty without their key playmaker in Patty Carrigan, and in 26 degree subtropical heat.

Yeah, um, should be a pretty lively one on the tiles in the Brown Snake tonight.

Go the LIONCOS!
