Trump Definitely Thinks The Australian Liberal Party Are The Lefties

Rubbing salt to an already large wound, President Trump has very nonchalantly claimed to never have heard of Peter Dutton.

Many political experts are saying Trump’s insulting lack of awareness about the existence of a major Australian political figure that has attempted to position himself as the Australian version of him comes down to two simple things.

Him losing and him being from the “Liberal” party.

“Trump doesn’t like losers so it’s not surprising he doesn’t want anything to do with him” said one expert on US politics.

“I’m also pretty confident that he thinks Dutton was the leftie candidate because American’s think Liberal equals left wing”

“This is nothing new, we gave up trying to explain the difference during the Howard years”

Trump’s passing comment about the leader has left the leader and a liberal party in shambles with no other choice but to laugh.

“It can’t get any worse, I guess we can be happy he said it after the election, but who gives a shit about any of this” said one Liberal MP while packing up their desk into a cardboard box.

Another MP was heard muttering that it was “probably for the best” that Dutton wasn’t internationally recognised.

Some in the party are now calling for a total rebrand, suggesting they just admit climate change is real and get a few women involved
