All ends of the political spectrum are uniting over the new robot slur that has been coined by the internet.

“Clanker”, the designated word mankind has decided to use as a premature slur against robots when they inevitably become a major part of our lives, has taken the internet by storm.

With the world united in their shared hatred for humanoid artificial intelligence, many are using slurs for the first time in their life, others are just happy to be able to freely use them in public.

“It really rolls off the tongue doesn’t it, I’ve always been suspicious of them, so I’m glad everyone else is catching on to the threat of these good for nothing clankers..” said Shane Keith Rawlings (56), an early voter of the One Nation party.

On the other side of the spectrum, lefties are celebrating the fact that the mainstream is finally talking the impending doom of AI.

“Yeah, I’m generally against slurs, but when it comes to clankers I can turn a blind eye” said Sarah Foster (31), a life long Greens voter.

Some have even suggested that “clanker” could be the first universally accepted slur in human history, a rare point of solidarity across all demographics.

Tech companies are nervously monitoring the trend, worried that their future customers are already conditioned to hate their products.

Political commentators say it may be the only bipartisan issue left, uniting racists, environmentalists, socialists, and conspiracy theorists under one banner.
