Though local woman Bec Haversford quite enjoys being a tiny lass, there are a few downsides that come with being vertically challenged.

For one, it’s often quite embarrassing trying to reach things on the touch shelf at Woolies, but at least she can damsel in distress her way into getting some help.

And dealing with people using her head as a head rest can be pretty annoying, as too is trying to get people to take you seriously, which is hard when you look like an angry child.

But undoubtedly, the biggest struggle to being 5 foot nothing is finding clothing that actually fits – which means all op shops are off the table. As too is online shopping, because you never really know what you’re going to get.

With a long list of ditched clothing items, including maxi dresses, baggy jeans and thigh high boots, Bec has now also had to give up her hunt for a jumpsuit.

Mainly, because it’s impossible to find one that doesn’t have a crotch that scrapes the floor.

Putting her hopes of becoming a sartorial trendsetter temporarily on hold, Bec finds herself instead going back to ye old faithful, of a simple tee and pants combo.

More to come.
