In congratulating President-elect Joe Biden today in Canberra, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said he was just glad Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp would never turn on him as they did to Donald Trump.
“Oh man,” he exhaled.
“Did you see how News Corp just went in on Trump when they knew he was going down? I’m just glad that’d never happen to me. Like, if I became so unpopular that News Corp here would throw their support behind Albo or something,”
“Could you imagine? Could you imagine News Corp picking Albo over me? Yeah, neither can I!”
