A local West Perth man has today decided on a change of scenery.

Stirling Karrinyup, a 37-year-old bloke from the Golden West has decide to spice things up a little, and actually stay home in Perth this weekend.

Coming off the back of a 7 day swing in Upstate Western Australia, the local FIFO worker explained that he might actually just hang ten.

“Yeah, me and the missus might give Bali a miss this weekend,” explained Stirling.

“We’ve been like every weekend I’ve had off for the last few months, so I just thought maybe we’ll put the feet up and chill.”

Like many other Perth locals who work in the resources industry, Stirling says there’s nothing better than a trip to Indo, but sometimes your cup can overflow.

“Honestly, I reckon we’ll move there when I retire in a few years,” said Stirling.

“But sometimes you can have to much of a good thing, so we’re gonna have a staycation.”

When asked whether he’d ever considered going anywhere else for a bit of a holiday Stirling laughed.

“Why would ya.”

“I mean we’ve got a big States road trip planned next year, before we fly across to Hawaii.”

“But other than that, I’ve got no desire to go anywhere else.”

“If it ain’t broke.”
