A local group chat has this week received a welcome stimulus package in lieu of footy season.

The hilariously named ‘Shaggers’ group chat has been lit up over the last few days, after long term member Steve Mitsotakis dropped a new LinkedIn head shot.

The classic corporate headshot captured with an expression that gives the impression there was someone with a gun standing just out of shot, has got the boys up and about it can be confirmed.

Already turned into a an emoji reaction, a memoji and 15 different memes, the new photo is still a staple response to a raft of messages.

Speaking to The Advocate about the stunning piece of photography, Mitsotakis said he’s rolling with the punches.

“Yeah, it certainly seems to have got the group moving,” laughed Mitsotakis.

“Apparently hilarious to my tradie mates who reckon they’d never get a head shot.”

“Apart from when their wives made them do a maternity shoot and an white shirt and denim jeans photo shoot with the family.”

“Which is far more embarrassing if you ask me.”

“But what can you do, I can see the humour in it, and if I bite or react it’s just gonna make it more of a thing haha.”

“So I’ll just keep laughing crying emoji’ing and move on.”
