A young bloke from Betoota Heights is set to have the book thrown at him, after a shocking incident over the weekend.

Ash Graham, a 27-year-old sparky from our town’s Raptor capital is under fire after a ‘disgraceful attempt to defraud his mates.’

Allegations from the Betoota Heights Tav are that young Ashley decided to cheekily try and grab schooners during a pint round with his mates.

“Mate, someone call the Police Squad,” said his ropeable mate at the time.

“Unbelievable,” said another.

“This is one for Lt. Frank Drebin Jr to investigate,” laughed another, referencing his favourite new movie, The Naked Gun.

“He’d never let something like this fly.”

When contacted for comment on the issue, Graham tried to play dumb.

“Aw mate, it was an honest mistake…”

“I just wasn’t thinking and accidentally got schooeys.”

“And that’s my defence.”

“I’ll be pleading not guilty, thank you very much.”
