Sussan Ley has well and truly smashed the glass ceiling this morning, as it’s announced she’ll be the Liberals first female leader in its 80 year history.
Ley, who served as the Liberal party’s deputy leader under Dutton, beat former shadow minister Angus Taylor by 29 votes to 25 votes.
The party was forced to rebuild a new leadership team after Dutton lost his seat in the Federal election.
Ted O’Brien (whoever that is?) will be the party’s deputy leader, beating Jacinta Price for the position.
Price only just recently switched from the Nationals to the Liberal Party to fight for the role.
However, despite Australia missing out on having two powerful women in leadership roles, there has still been a major win for numerology girlies as Ley’s historic win proves that numerology does work!
Ley is reported to have changed her name from ‘Susan’ to ‘Sussan’, in her early 20s, to lead a more ‘exciting life’, as numerology suggests that numbers (and letters assigned to those numbers) can have a spiritual impact on lives.
It’s unknown is Ley plans on changing her name back to Susan now that she’s achieved her goal, or if she’ll continue adding more ‘S’s to her name like infinity stones.
More to come.
