Logie-winning canine couple Bandit and Chilli Heeler are facing public scrutiny following the release of grainy footage that appears to show the pair snorting a white powder in the disabled toilet of a licensed venue in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
The incident allegedly occurred in the early hours of Monday morning, hours after Bluey was awarded Best Children’s Program at the 2025 TV Week Logies.
Footage, currently circulating on social media and various tabloid websites, shows two figures resembling the Heeler parents entering the disabled facility of the Swan & Rooster Hotel in Woollahra. The two remain inside for approximately eight minutes before emerging with dilated pupils and erratic tail movement.
The video was filmed by a member of the public who had reportedly been invited into the bathroom by Bandit Heeler, after the pair became engaged in a lengthy discussion at the bar about Queensland’ms 1994/95 Sheffield Shield victory that ended a 68-year drought and shone a light on the leadership of Stuart Law.
The man, later identified as a journalist working for a high-traffic online entertainment website, claims he began filming after becoming suspicious of the Heelers’ behaviour inside the cubicle.
The ABC has not released a statement regarding the footage. No formal complaints have been lodged, and the substance seen in the footage has not been identified.
Both Bandit and Chilli were last seen exiting the venue via a side entrance and entering a black SUV.
Bluey remains scheduled to air as normal on ABC Kids this evening.
More to come.
