Despite the polls being closed and the race being run, the 2025 federal election has taken another peculiar turn.

With the sitting Opposition Leader losing his seat in a historic moment, plenty has already happened.

However things have gotten ever weirder, with a famous figure returning from beyond the grave to walk amongst us mortals one more time.

Former Cardinal George Pell has emerged from hell to make a brief cameo at the political funeral of Peter Dutton.

The funeral is set to take place at some billionaire’s place, with people remembering the time political life and times of a man famous for fighting the good culture wars fight.

It’s unknown if Pell will be speaking at the political funeral, but he has offered to provide a character reference if needed.

Peter Dutton leaves behind a decimated Liberal party suffering its worst loss in history and an existential crisis.

He also leaves like 300 million dollars or whatever of property and childcare assets to his non-political self.
