The world has been left stunned after a former KGB agent based in the espionage capital of the world, East Germany, has somehow avoided being outsmarted by an American reality TV personality.

The showdown between the two leaders, which Trump promised would be quick and definitive, has, shockingly, not gone to plan.

Members of Trump’s team have scrambled to figure out how their leader was once again outwitted.

“Trump was literally the boss on the show The Apprentice, the pinnacle of American corporate analysis” explained one Trump spokesperson.

“Putin hasn’t even had a TV show??” the spokesperson said frustratingly.

Despite warnings from blue-pilled, cucked beta male critics that a Cold War-hardened Russian KGB agent might pose a challenge, Trump’s team remained confident that a man who once cut deals on The Apprentice could handle negotiations just fine.

When asked about Trump’s promise to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict on ‘day one’, Trump’s team quickly dismissed the claims.

“He obviously said that so people would be more likely to vote for him, that was never going to happen.”
