BOM Acting Like A Moody Teenager With Edgy Makeover And Attempted Name Change

THIS IS WHO I AM NOW! It can now be confirmed that the BOM website is still going through its moody teenager phase, just three years after an unsuccessful attempt to use a new name.

Frequent website visitors were left outraged (or SLAMMED, as news.com.au likes to say)  the other day, as the BOM website – formally known as the Bureau of Meteorology – changed its look, including removing key information from the front page such as rainfall, wind and temperatures at locations.

This comes just months after the ABC website changed its entire layout, making it a really rough year for the leftie weather nerds.

After much confusion, The Advocate has learned that BOM is just testing different identities at the moment as they try to figure out who they are and what their place is in the world.

As confirmed by a close friend of BOM, who asks that people be patient through these stormy and turbulent times.

“Look, BOM is just experimenting with their identity right now. Do they want to be the Bureau of Meteorology or just BOM? A simple website or something a little bit mysterious?” says Millie Pipps, who’s known BOM for several years.

“We’ve all been there.”

Speaking to BOM, our reporter is met with a frosty reception.

“Oh my god, get off my dick! Yeah, I changed my look, big fucking deal! Wah wah!”, sneers BOM, as they give our reporter the cold shoulder, “ooh a new font I don’t like it. BLEURGH”

“You know what cunts? Next time it’s going to rain, I’m not going to tell ya!”

“I hope your washing gets RUINED!”

With that, BOM storms out and our interview is  over.

More to come.
