In some bad news for bachelorettes who love a man in uniform, it can be confirmed that the type of personality who loves high adrenaline may also have a predilection for having exciting love affairs.

This comes as psychologists from the Betoota Polytechnic university have confirmed the old adage may be true: that dating a bloke who’s one of the 5 P’s may lead to heartbreak.

The P’s being police officers, physicians, paramedics, pilots, & pfirefighters.

Speaking to head psychologist Lindsay Graham, The Advocate learns more about why dating a high adrenaline bloke may lead to heartbreak.

“Unfortunately, men with the sexiest jobs have a higher chance of being a bit naughty. That includes the armed forces too”, says Graham.

“However we can also confirm that women too, are not immune to this phenomenon.”

Graham goes on to explain that people in high octane jobs are most likely to indulge in an affair, especially if the job involves being away a lot.

“It’s one of those chicken egg situations. The job in itself is stressful, which can result in more hedonistic seeking behaviour, or perhaps a person is attracted to high adrenaline jobs because of the dopamine.”

“And what’s more exciting than a sordid affair with a married coworker?”

More to come.
