USING A WORD THAT’S still finding it’s feet in the American vernacular, President-elect Donald Trump has revealed his plan to deport John Oliver, an ‘uppity British cunt’ and political commentator before all others.
As one of his most vocal detractors, Oliver’s days as a US-based comedian may soon be numbered.
“I’m going to rip up his green card and throw him over the wall,” said Trump. “Over the wall he goes.”
It’s understood by The Advocate that Trump plans to make the deportation of John Oliver his first priority after being sworn into office early next year.
“There’s been many actors, performers and singers say they’ll ‘flee’ the US in the event of my presidency. All of them have flaked on their word. But Oliver, I will make sure Oliver is back licking windows at the BBC before Memorial Day.” he said.
After first appearing on the John Stewart Show in 2006, Oliver has trail-blazed the ‘rantalism’ school of journalism, which has been adopted and appropriated by other television presenters such as Waleed Aly and Karl Stefanovic.
‘Rantalism’ quickly became popular in the wake of Oliver’s success, whereby news points and facts are punctuated with comedic commas, resulting in an entertaining – but ultimately factual and thought-provoking experience for the viewer.
More to come.
