The world is breathing a sigh of relief today after the United States' President revealed he's cooled down on Greenland, somewhat.

Fronting the annual Davos meeting, President Trump confirmed he's backing down on the threat to impose tariffs on European countries - as well as forgoing the possibility of a military intervention, for now.

The President instead hailed a 'forever deal' that he is going to make in the near future, which hasn't been confirmed by anyone.

This comes after Donald Trump ramped up the military rhetoric around Greenland following an illegal attack on Venezuela and the kidnapping of its leader.

While many experts believe that it was Europe calling Trump's bluff on Greenland, it can actually be confirmed it was the Australian Open that prevented the major geopolitical blow up.

Speaking exclusively to The Advocate, an insider from the White House revealed that the Australian Open's threat to remove the US flag from scoreboard graphic if the America invaded Greenland was the hammer blow to the President.

"Yeah, that really rocked him."

"The thought of seeing a white flag next to Jess Pegula's name was just too much."

"So he's backing off and leaving the precious minerals of Greenland in peace."

More to come.
