Barnaby Joyce has ended a demanding sitting week by successfully "splitting the P" on a bottle of Penfolds at a private function in Canberra.
Witnesses confirmed the Member for New England consumed the wine in a single, continuous motion, stopping precisely at the midpoint of the capital “P” on the label. There was no overshoot.
Staff declined to comment on whether the attempt had been premeditated. However, one staffer said it's not the first time and it won't be the last time.
