The struggle for the leadership of the Federal Liberal Party has today taken a stunning turn.
With the backroom wheeling and dealing reaching a frenzy this week, the current Deputy Leader of the Party has called for transparency.
Following leader Sussan Ley’s demand that any backers of a spill put their names on it, Ted O’Brien has gone one step further and called out challenger Angus Taylor.
“Run it straight cunt,” said a fired up O’Brien today.
“Fuck your two faced dog shit, front up like a big man and run it straight,” said the Sunny Coast representative.
“Deadset, sick of weak dogs yapping behind our backs tryna cause shit.”
“So if you want it, come get it,” finished Ted.
The challenge follows weeks of brooding behind closed doors about who should boot the first female leader of the party less than a year after she was appointed.
The call out has apparently left Angus Taylor somewhat perplexed with the Rhodes Scholar asking his staff to explain what this Runnit thing is.
“So we literally just run as fast as we can at each and see who comes off best?” laughed the born to rule leader in waiting.
“Okay, obviously Ted’s fairly solid, but I’m still pretty well put together,” continued Taylor.
“Might roll the dice and see if I can leave him turtling on the floor.”
The challenge has yet to officially be confirmed, with the Liberal party apparently keen to publicly tear itself apart for as long as possible.
More to come.
